At Pizza Express, we take pride in serving hot, handcrafted meals made fresh to order right here on Poole Road. As customer Skip G. noted, "you can smell the dough rising, see the bags of flour and giant mixer in the back..." because preparing our crust in-house is where great flavor begins. From our classic cheese and loaded Express pies to giant eighteen inch pizzas, we focus on balanced sauce, melted mozzarella, and generous toppings. Our kitchen also prepares oven-baked strombolis, stuffed calzones, crisp wings, and hot subs fresh off the line. While our unassuming storefront setup inside the station surprises some newcomers, the quality of our food speaks for itself from the very first bite. We keep orders moving quickly so dinner is piping hot and ready whenever you walk through the door. Feeding our Raleigh community with honest, hearty comfort food is a privilege we never take for granted.
